Sourced exclusively from smaller farms in Peru, these beans are grown alongside woodlands with some of the richest biodiversity in the world. Farmers in the region must preserve 35% of the land's indigenous habitats for wildlife such as grassy savannahs, scrublands and forests. This ensures the natural habitats of indigenous animals and migratory birds are protected while enabling local economic stability for farmers who can grow these high quality beans.
