This coffee is grown exclusively by women from neighbouring communities in Peru. All the profits go directly to the women, rather than the men in their families, as it is often the mother who will make the best decisions regarding how to spend the family income. The income the women receive from the coffee they grow helps to transform their family’s chances in education, health and social and economic progression.
