There probably aren’t too many businesses that can trace their roots back to a single cup of instant coffee, but that’s how it started for us. A particularly grim mugful served up to Indigo Valley founder Andrew at his local church in 2005 was the inspiration for what has now become the first choice for hassle-free, hand-roasted and great-tasting Fairtrade coffee for 2000+ churches, social enterprise café’s and businesses throughout the UK.
If you have a passion for the "black gold", come and explore the world of coffee with us. New beans arrive every season from the world's best coffee producers, and our finely tuned roasting techniques make sure we draw out each batch's distinctive taste and character.
Using the senses of sight, smell, sound we watch with care the coffee gently tumbling in the roaster, as it slowly develops its full flavour in a traditional roasting style.
By sourcing only Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance coffee, we are doing our best to protect both the livelihoods of coffee producers and the environment in which coffee is grown.
We are not a faceless internet company, with our main operations in the Cotswolds and on the outskirts of Cambridge we are real people with a real passion for the world of coffee.
Through the RESPOND (Water of Life) Initiative, we help ensure children and their families in the coffee growing regions of the world are given safe drinking water for life.
