Birchall have been certified Fairtrade since 2006 and all their teabags are biodegradable and plastic-free.

ECO-FRIENDLY
Birchall has become the first tea company in the world to officially join the UN’s Climate Neutral Now Initiative, which invites organisations to work towards global climate neutrality by addressing their own climate footprint. In May 2020, Birchall achieved the Carbon Neutral International Standard which means that all Birchall Tea products are now 100% Carbon Neutral.

Birchall's Tea Factory in Amesbury, Wiltshire reflects their commitment to looking after the planet – it is the UK’s first solar-powered tea factory which features 460 solar panels, capable of generating all the clean renewable electricity for their operations.
